Montes's Chorche Camara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilabert Cuadro in the 53rd minute of play. Arnulfo Tavera kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. When Haritzeder Conchas fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Miguelete's protests and gave Haritzeder Conchas a yellow card for diving instead. Haritzeder Conchas hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Bazkoare Barbero hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Miguelete's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pudes Manzanal in the 96th minute. The corner led to Miguelete's Hipolito Agosto getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Montes eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
