Maxin Irazu charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maxin Irazu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Soto AFC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Maxin Irazu hit a great ball. Quirze Zaballos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Orlandus Villabona tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ximeno Arraña scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Damaso Mascareñas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Quirze Zaballos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Quirze Zaballos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlandus Villabona having to interfere. Orlandus Villabona made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erubiel Gorria in the 20th minute. 34 minutes into the match, Vicheadero's Ximeno Arraña sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Damaso Mascareñas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Maxin Irazu was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 38 minutes had been played. A collision led to Soto AFC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Maxin Irazu hit a great ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erubiel Gorria made a kick off. Orlandus Villabona stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erubiel Gorria's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Quirze Zaballos's late challenge caught a Vicheadero's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Quirze Zaballos helped the player get up and apologised. Ximeno Arraña fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damaso Mascareñas having to interfere. Vicheadero's Orlandus Villabona played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Goren Almazan in the 79th minute of play. Omar Arteaga hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Vicheadero's zone, Erubiel Gorria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orlandus Villabona came out of the goal and Erubiel Gorria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Vicheadero getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Unax Tablada hit a great ball. If Ximeno Arraña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Quirze Zaballos kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pepito Sagrario during the 97th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 99th minute of the game, Vicheadero got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Vicheadero walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
