BOLSO DECANO's supporters rose to their feet, but Nabar Govantes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gualterio Galantia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of BOLSO DECANO booed when Sosa AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Conde didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Nabar Govantes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gualterio Galantia was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. 39 minutes into the match, Erubiel Castella notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Sosa AFC's Gualterio Galantia. Gualterio Galantia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Hermon Lugo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

56 minutes into the match, BOLSO DECANO's Erubiel Castella sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gualterio Galantia narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
