After having played for 12 minutes, Cuartio Hornilla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carmelo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cuartio Hornilla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Cristian Larquera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Herena Fontarigo made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Ekhi Valdes sent off a good shot on target. Herena Fontarigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Larquera in the 24th minute of play. Herena Fontarigo made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Teo Arieta sent off a good shot on target. In the 33rd match minute, Carmelo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cuartio Hornilla to maneuver through the defense. With 35 minutes on the clock, Boniel Socarras commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 35 minutes into the game, one of Carmelo FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 38 minutes, Montes FC's Chano Alcano got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Herena Fontarigo. In the 41st minute, Teo Arieta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Herena Fontarigo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Carmelo FC's Herena Fontarigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucio Cervantez in the 47th minute of play.

Herena Fontarigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teo Arieta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ereinotz Paz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 65 minutes into the match, Ereinotz Paz notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Montes FC's Franko Maruca. Franko Maruca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ereinotz Paz, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Carmelo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Teo Arieta came free, but Herena Fontarigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xoan Cera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franko Maruca having to interfere. Carmelo FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
