Aresti Posadas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hibai Melgar in the 7th minute of play. Martinez Gandulla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kismi Trullols, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Echeverry AFC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Nicolao Abaunza hit a great ball. 21 minutes into the game, Ildephonso Malla was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Echeverry AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vichadero the free kick. In the 21st match minute, Echeverry AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ildephonso Malla to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the match, Vichadero's Xano Viado broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Aresti Posadas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hibai Melgar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vichadero's Martinez Gandulla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kismi Trullols in the 32nd minute of play. Baldomiro Loño's late challenge caught a Echeverry AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baldomiro Loño helped the player get up and apologised. After 36 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Vichadero! Martinez Gandulla didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 39th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0.

The supporters of Vichadero booed when Echeverry AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ritchie Egaña didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 65th minute, Ildephonso Malla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 66th minute, Kismi Trullols ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Martinez Gandulla was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. If Dorio Vivero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the match, Vichadero's goal looked a bit too open when Tobias Ontiveros came free, but Martinez Gandulla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Echeverry AFC defense, Gudesteo Barbajero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aresti Posadas. The Echeverry AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aresti Posadas should have stopped the shot. Kismi Trullols received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Martinez Gandulla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vichadero's Martinez Gandulla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dorio Vivero in the 90th minute of play. Martinez Gandulla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorio Vivero in the 96th minute of play. There was no doubt that Echeverry AFC were the better team. Echeverry AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
