After 12 played minutes Palma got a freekick which was hit by Dalmacio Lombana. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bruno Berrondo during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 14 played minutes Ituzaingo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Berrondo. After having played for 17 minutes, Eduino Hortigosa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ituzaingo AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eduino Hortigosa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 18 played minutes Ituzaingo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Orlan Limon. In the 24th minute, Zorion Zaldierna made a precise shot to the right of Txanton Milla. Palma's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 30 minutes into the match, Ituzaingo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Leoncio Alcega came free, but Felix Balanza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leoncio Alcega in the 32nd minute of play forced Ituzaingo AFC's goalkeeper Felix Balanza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leoncio Alcega fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Balanza having to interfere. Felix Balanza came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Palma's Domiku Carbajo. But to his dismay, Domiku Carbajo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. A collision led to Palma getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Fabian Mazon hit a great ball. Leoncio Alcega blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Felix Balanza having to make a save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eduino Hortigosa was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Domiku Carbajo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Felix Balanza was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Leoncio Alcega in the 55thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Felix Balanza, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 57 minutes into the match, Ituzaingo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Domiku Carbajo came free, but Felix Balanza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacobo Arras could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Felix Balanza made a huge save. Domiku Carbajo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Balanza having to interfere. Ituzaingo AFC's Felix Balanza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domiku Carbajo in the 73rd minute of play. Felix Balanza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leoncio Alcega in the 80th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Ituzaingo AFC's zone, Domiku Carbajo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felix Balanza came out of the goal and Domiku Carbajo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leoncio Alcega sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domiku Carbajo in the 87th minute of play forced Ituzaingo AFC's goalkeeper Felix Balanza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 90 minutes, Leoncio Alcega managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palma's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leoncio Alcega was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Felix Balanza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domiku Carbajo in the 96th minute of play. Palma's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
