Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Javier Echarri started the match with the kick off. Zuriko Asturias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvarez Cachurro in the 5th minute of play. Oton Errarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Alvarez Cachurro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 10 minutes, Oton Errarte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palma's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oton Errarte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Alvarez Cachurro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zuriko Asturias was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Zuriko Asturias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvarez Cachurro, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Maximiliano Maestro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Ferdinand Loureiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Javier Echarri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferdinand Loureiro having to interfere. Maximiliano Maestro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 36thth minute, Ferdinand Loureiro skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Javier Echarri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferdinand Loureiro having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alvarez Cachurro in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zuriko Asturias saved Vejigas from getting behind. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alvarez Cachurro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Javier Echarri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 55 minutes into the match, Vejigas's goalkeeper Zuriko Asturias had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oton Errarte. If Oton Errarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oton Errarte got free with Zuriko Asturias in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 61 minutes into the game, Vejigas's Javier Echarri nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ferdinand Loureiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mon Montez in the 65th minute of play forced Palma's goalkeeper Ferdinand Loureiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Maximiliano Maestro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 73 minutes into the match, Palma's goal looked a bit too open when Javier Echarri came free, but Ferdinand Loureiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Helder Fuica might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zuriko Asturias. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Helder Fuica ran back to his position shaking his head. 81 minutes into the match, Oton Errarte had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zuriko Asturias. Vejigas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oton Errarte was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 87 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Vejigas's Javier Echarri fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Palma's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
