Goni FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Udalaitz Huerga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Neto Pizarro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Goni FC's Eleder Caunedo got a free kick in the 60th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Vila's Clawirton Alcala broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Felipillo Griego who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 85thth minute tested the skills of Gerazan Larios when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 89th minute, Neto Pizarro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Goni FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Neto Pizarro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
