In the 3rd minute, Frisco Santecilla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tebaldo Santome in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rio Baldaliso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 10 played minutes Inter de Malvín got a freekick which was hit by Sustrai Masferrer. With a little luck, Inter de Malvín's Domenec Echavarria got control of the ball when Lizer Ceballos tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Yacot getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Lizer Ceballos hit a great ball. Yacot's Elija Cabañeros suffered a sprained foot after 14 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Sustrai Masferrer charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sustrai Masferrer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Inter de Malvín's Sustrai Masferrer got a free kick in the 15th minute. Yacot's Rio Baldaliso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tebaldo Santome in the 19th minute of play. Yacot's Isusko Gegunde got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Yacot getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Isusko Gegunde hit a great ball. In the 29th minute of the match Silviano Binel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rio Baldaliso showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Inter de Malvín booed when Yacot was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isusko Gegunde didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rio Baldaliso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tebaldo Santome went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. If Tebaldo Santome had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Inter de Malvín's Sustrai Masferrer got a free kick in the 45th minute. When Inter de Malvín's Tebaldo Santome in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Yacot's goalie prevented a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lizer Ceballos was the one to do the kick off. Tebaldo Santome could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Rio Baldaliso made a huge save. Tebaldo Santome received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Rio Baldaliso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Tebaldo Santome managed to get in a good position for a shot. Inter de Malvín's supporters rose to their feet, but Tebaldo Santome was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rio Baldaliso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Rio Baldaliso managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when Inter de Malvín's Tebaldo Santome fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 65th minute, Isusko Gegunde hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tebaldo Santome received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Rio Baldaliso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dario Borinaga scored 0-2 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rio Baldaliso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tebaldo Santome might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rio Baldaliso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tebaldo Santome ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Inter de Malvín booed when Yacot was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Turi Cancela didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dario Borinaga scored 0-4 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rio Baldaliso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Silviano Binel kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. If Dario Borinaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rio Baldaliso acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 96th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Silviano Binel. Inter de Malvín's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
