Geleberto Chicoime showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urbano Nogueira in the 59th minute of the match. Gelacio Larez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvarez Sotolongo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Bolivar AFC's zone, Alvarez Sotolongo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gelacio Larez came out of the goal and Alvarez Sotolongo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Filipo Pineda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gelacio Larez having to interfere. Jokin Callejo struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Geleberto Chicoime didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bolivar AFC. If Filipo Pineda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With his leg Geleberto Chicoime managed to avoid a goal in the 82ndth minute, when Bolivar AFC's Jokin Callejo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Alvarez Sotolongo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th match minute, Barker was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mosen Albiz to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Bolivar AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
