Estebano Pozo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 3 minutes into the match. The referee gave Cunapiru a penalty, 5 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Azeari Querijazu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Berruti's Generosb Letran. 0-1. Richie Ziarza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingos Capel having to interfere. After 10 played minutes Cunapiru got a freekick which was hit by Olayo Adrian. Richie Ziarzas short, quick shot in the 11thth minute got Domingos Capel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bonifaco Orive in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Generosb Letran prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Berruti defense, Bonifaco Orive kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Generosb Letran. The Berruti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Generosb Letran should have stopped the shot. 29 minutes into the match, Bonifaco Orive had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Generosb Letran. Berruti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bonifaco Orive was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. 36 minutes into the game, Hori Serrana was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Berruti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cunapiru the free kick. Hori Serrana kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Berruti's zone, Bonifaco Orive stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Generosb Letran came out of the goal and Bonifaco Orive tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bonifaco Orive to make the kick off. If Richie Ziarza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Generosb Letran managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when Cunapiru's Cebo Barriga fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 64th minute, Bonifaco Orive reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Generosb Letran. The goal made the score 0-5. Cebo Barriga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Generosb Letran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bonifaco Orive received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Generosb Letran was left in no man's land by his defense there! Generosb Letran made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cebo Barriga in the 90th minute. Domingos Capel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richie Ziarza, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Cebo Barriga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Generosb Letran having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Cunapiru had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
