If Faron Cabalar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mikeldi Araico struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Rosalio Moran didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vichadero AFC. In the 20th minute Mikeldi Araico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosalio Moran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Valentin FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mikeldi Araico came free, but Rosalio Moran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Nacho Labra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 35 minutes, Faron Cabalar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valentin FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Faron Cabalar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A hard shot 37 in the game by Faron Cabalar from a close distance when the talented Basajaun Marquina managed to make a qualified save. Vichadero AFC's players were relieved. Rosalio Moran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Burdeos, who was totally free with the ball in the 49th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When Mauricio Aspurua fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Valentin FC's protests and gave Mauricio Aspurua a yellow card for diving instead. In the 57th match minute, Valentin FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauricio Aspurua to maneuver through the defense. Claudio Burdeos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rosalio Moran having to make a save. Mikeldi Araico was extremely unlucky when he, in the 71st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Claudio Burdeos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vichadero AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudio Burdeos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rosalio Moran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Xerardo Goxenola charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xerardo Goxenola the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 75 played minutes Valentin FC got a freekick which was hit by Xerardo Goxenola. Vichadero AFC's Arias Partarroyo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 76th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Valentin FC. The crowd rose to their feet as Vichadero AFC's Claudio Burdeos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rosalio Moran. That made the score 2-1 after 78 minutes of play. Valentin FC's Faron Cabalar got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Basajaun Marquina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faron Cabalar in the 98th minute of play. Valentin FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Vichadero AFC for a fine match.
