Morato AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eufemio Zapata was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Eufemio Zapata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th minute, Honorio Ferrero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Eufemio Zapata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 21st match minute, Echevarria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eufemio Zapata to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute, Gutierrre Zapata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rocendo Lozana kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Sabino Oropeza reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gonzo Elias. The goal made the score 1-1. Modesto Amo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Gonzo Elias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sabino Oropeza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonzo Elias having to interfere. Vladimiro Mecaur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narciso Cuffaro in the 36th minute of play. Honorio Ferrero hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Vladimiro Mecaur stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Narciso Cuffaro's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Modesto Amo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Gonzo Elias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sabino Oropeza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonzo Elias having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sabino Oropeza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eufemio Zapata in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vladimiro Mecaur saved Morato AFC from getting behind. Sabino Oropeza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Gonzo Elias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Narciso Cuffaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Honorio Ferrero fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Morato AFC's protests and gave Honorio Ferrero a yellow card for diving instead. Vladimiro Mecaur came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Echevarria's Narciso Cuffaro. But to his dismay, Narciso Cuffaro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Modesto Amo in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gonzo Elias prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Palben Camus kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. If Sabino Oropeza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adriana Castañeda charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adriana Castañeda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 89th minute of the game. One of Morato AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Echevarria:s goal. Tiago Villa placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! An unexpectedly hard shot by Modesto Amo in the 93rd minute of play forced Echevarria's goalkeeper Gonzo Elias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 96 minutes into the game, Estevon Fontecavada was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Echevarria's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Morato AFC the free kick. After 96 played minutes Echevarria got a freekick which was hit by Estevon Fontecavada.
