The crowd rose to their feet as Reynold AFC's Ladislao Ruidiez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vladimiro Mecaur. That made the score 1-0 after 12 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sabino Oropeza in the 20th minute of play forced Reynold AFC's goalkeeper Geronimo Tumiraos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Reynold AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Modesto Amo came free, but Geronimo Tumiraos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sabino Oropeza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sabino Oropeza was the one to do the kick off.
