Edgardo Espinareda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Talaya in the 14th minute of the match. Enol Almaguer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Jago Nicolas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edgardo Espinareda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Atarratze Proenza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Maronas defense, Antonio Talaya kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edgardo Espinareda. The Maronas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edgardo Espinareda should have stopped the shot. Atarratze Proenza kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Desiderio Pumar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maronas's supporters rose to their feet, but Desiderio Pumar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jago Nicolas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edgardo Espinareda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Talaya, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antonio Talaya in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edgardo Espinareda saved Maronas from getting behind. Antonio Talaya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Averias FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
