The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dominic Bustelo to make the kick off. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Verdun's Xandro Loyola got a free kick in the 94th minute. Artur Cegama didn't quite understand what happened when in the 96 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. For all the effort they put into the match, the Verdun players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Blanquillos.
