After 4 minutes, Donio Ferrero made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Palomas FC's Cristobal Badia tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Colas Ayarza got free with Cristobal Badia in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nabar Camacho struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Camilo Tascon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palomas FC. When Palomas FC's Bonifaco Santayana in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Cristobal Badia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Colas Ayarza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the match, Reynold FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bonifaco Santayana came free, but Camilo Tascon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nabar Camacho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 31 minutes, Bonifaco Santayana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palomas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bonifaco Santayana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 31 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Reynold FC! When Nabar Camacho came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Palomas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nabar Camacho couldn't finish the play. Colas Ayarza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Cristobal Badia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Palomas FC's goalkeeper Cristobal Badia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Donio Ferrero made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Colas Ayarza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Reynold FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Colas Ayarza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristobal Badia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bonifaco Santayana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Tascon having to interfere. Bonifaco Santayana might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Camilo Tascon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bonifaco Santayana ran back to his position shaking his head. When Donio Ferrero came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Reynold FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donio Ferrero couldn't finish the play. Donio Ferrero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Cristobal Badia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Camilo Tascon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bonifaco Santayana, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Cristobal Badia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aaron Boldu in the 77th minute of the match. Donio Ferrero might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristobal Badia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Donio Ferrero ran back to his position shaking his head. When Aaron Boldu fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Reynold FC's protests and gave Aaron Boldu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 85th minute, Aaron Boldu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th minute Bonifaco Santayana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Tascon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 99 minutes into the match, Palomas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Colas Ayarza came free, but Cristobal Badia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
