In the 21stth minute of the game Belasko Querejeta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ahogados's Inguma Obarenes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Inguma Obarenes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Belasko Querejeta, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Fernando Valderas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Inguma Obarenes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ahogados's supporters rose to their feet, but Carolo Redondo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xoan Espin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jimenez's Belasko Querejeta got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Belasko Querejeta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karlos Baldaliso struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Xoan Espin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ahogados. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Valderas in the 58th minute of play forced Ahogados's goalkeeper Inguma Obarenes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elija Pradias charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elija Pradias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 65 played minutes Jimenez got a freekick which was hit by Elija Pradias. Karlos Baldaliso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xoan Espin having to interfere. If Karlos Baldaliso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Jimenez walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
