With a couple of smart ball manuevers Estevez Alfebra in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Llanos Astudillo saved Reynold from getting behind. Estevez Alfebra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Llanos Astudillo having to interfere. Llanos Astudillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Estevez Alfebra in the 16th minute of the match. In the 17th match minute, Reynold was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicemte Caban to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the game, Vicemte Caban was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Reynold's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave modols FC the free kick. In the 22nd minute, Vicemte Caban hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th minute, Pero Godinez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Reynold fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Belo Modet's late challenge caught a Reynold's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Belo Modet helped the player get up and apologised. Belo Modet hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The Reynold supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Reynold would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
