Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Charro Azcoitia made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute Charro Azcoitia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Americo Rujido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ildefonso Somovilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Osoitz Albar in the 5th minute. Osoitz Albar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Charro Azcoitia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Esperanza's supporters rose to their feet, but Charro Azcoitia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Americo Rujido breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Esperanza's Ildefonso Somovilla got control of the ball when Osoitz Albar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Charro Azcoitia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Americo Rujido having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Guayabos's Fero Quiroz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ildefonso Somovilla narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Esperanza booed when Guayabos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Odol Galvan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute Fero Quiroz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ildefonso Somovilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fero Quiroz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fero Quiroz in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ildefonso Somovilla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fero Quiroz in the 40th minute of play forced Esperanza's goalkeeper Ildefonso Somovilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 45th play minutes Oto Burgos shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Americo Rujido and just under the crossbar into goal. The Guayabos players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Esperanza were winning 0-1.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fero Quiroz to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Fero Quiroz made a precise shot to the right of Ildefonso Somovilla. Esperanza's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Oto Burgos had several of the Guayabos's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 59 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Americo Rujido as he didn't even see the shot coming. 62 minutes into the match, Esperanza's goal looked a bit too open when Osoitz Albar came free, but Ildefonso Somovilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mateo Ciscal hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Guayabos's Odol Galvan got a free kick in the 71st minute. Guayabos's Americo Rujido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charro Azcoitia in the 74th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fero Quiroz in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ildefonso Somovilla saved Esperanza from getting behind. Ildefonso Somovilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osoitz Albar in the 89th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charro Azcoitia in the 92nd minute of play forced Guayabos's goalkeeper Americo Rujido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Americo Rujido made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Oto Burgos sent off a good shot on target. The Guayabos supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Esperanza's performance. The match ended with a win for Esperanza.
