To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Koldobika Mulas fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chapicuy's protests and gave Koldobika Mulas a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Turupi FC booed when Chapicuy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Koldobika Mulas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lleir Erruz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Ekialde Casadevante made a huge save. Ekialde Casadevante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guter Escapa, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. If Lleir Erruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Guter Escapa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ekialde Casadevante read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Guter Escapa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ekialde Casadevante was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. If Resto Sesse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
