But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaizka Malvido couldn't finish the play. Lartaun Marichalar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 17th minute, Polo Pont hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute of the match Dino Peguero sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jesus Alva skillfully saved the ball. Constitution's Damaso Ogazon got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Damaso Ogazon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Aguirre FC defense, Damaso Ogazon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jesus Alva. The Aguirre FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jesus Alva should have stopped the shot. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lartaun Marichalar couldn't finish the play. Damaso Ogazon was extremely unlucky when he, in the 79th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 80th minute, Damaso Ogazon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 95th match minute, Constitution was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toro Chavez to maneuver through the defense. Constitution's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
