Sesuldo Redondos short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Claris Alaiz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toribio Lucas in the 19th minute of play forced Menafra's goalkeeper Claris Alaiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claris Alaiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Izmendi in the 20th minute of play. Aznaro Mirafuentes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ostadar Remiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Claris Alaiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo Izmendi, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Berdaitz Launda got free with Ostadar Remiro in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Carqueja AFC booed when Menafra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlomagno Aya didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aznaro Mirafuentes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcelo Izmendi struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Claris Alaiz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carqueja AFC.
