After a rather tough play, Atlantida AFC's Mateo Oliver got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Roberto Carballo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kepa Sepulveda in the 10th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Mercedes FC's zone, Kepa Sepulveda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roberto Carballo came out of the goal and Kepa Sepulveda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roberto Carballo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Azibar Arzumendi, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Vasco Vandoma's late challenge caught a Mercedes FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vasco Vandoma helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Mercedes FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Guilabertus Botbol hit a great ball. Mercedes FC's Roberto Carballo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Mercedes FC from getting a goal against them. After 24 played minutes Atlantida AFC got a freekick which was hit by Orlan Santillion. When Mercedes FC's Xamo Vardeci in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Atlantida AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Lop Rienda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xamo Vardeci in the 34th minute of play. Xamo Vardeci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Lop Rienda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Mercedes FC's goalkeeper Roberto Carballo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kepa Sepulveda. If Kepa Sepulveda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lop Rienda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabino Gamarra in the 45th minute of play. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlantida AFC's goalkeeper Lop Rienda, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When Guilabertus Botbol fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mercedes FC's protests and gave Guilabertus Botbol a yellow card for diving instead. Guilabertus Botbol kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. When Kepa Sepulveda came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Atlantida AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kepa Sepulveda couldn't finish the play. Gabino Gamarra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Lop Rienda made a huge save. Xamo Vardeci was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 72nd minute. Mercedes FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 74 minutes into the game, Inge Azpilcueta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atlantida AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mercedes FC the free kick. Roberto Carballo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Azibar Arzumendi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th minute Guilabertus Botbol suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Vasco Vandoma was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 90 minutes had been played. The supporters of Mercedes FC booed when Atlantida AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vasco Vandoma didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Atlantida AFC's zone, Gabino Gamarra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lop Rienda came out of the goal and Gabino Gamarra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Mercedes FC defense, Kepa Sepulveda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roberto Carballo. The Mercedes FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roberto Carballo should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Atlantida AFC had won after a very even match.
