Florentino FC's Jakue Bernabeytia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karmel Aragones in the 18th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Karmel Aragones had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jakue Bernabeytia. Florentino FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karmel Aragones was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Deunoro Guete managed to get in a good position for a shot. Florentino FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Deunoro Guete was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abel Nero was the one to do the kick off. If Karmel Aragones had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santio Belorado might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacinto Santiso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Santio Belorado ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Frisco Graus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacinto Santiso was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Correa's zone, Santio Belorado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacinto Santiso came out of the goal and Santio Belorado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lorien Castrillon hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Karmel Aragones received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Jakue Bernabeytia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abel Nero in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jakue Bernabeytia saved Florentino FC from getting behind. Karmel Aragones fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jakue Bernabeytia having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Correa's zone, Frisco Graus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacinto Santiso came out of the goal and Frisco Graus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jacinto Santiso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santio Belorado, who was totally free with the ball in the 100th minute. The Correa supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Correa would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
