After a defensive mix-up in Tala's zone, Frisco Graus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Perico Mayllar came out of the goal and Frisco Graus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Tala getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Ugutz Echenique hit a great ball. Frisco Graus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 10 played minutes Tala got a freekick which was hit by Ugutz Echenique. Jakue Bernabeytia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lauren Viñambres in the 15th minute of play. After some careless play in the Florentino FC defense, Stephen Laiseca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jakue Bernabeytia. The Florentino FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jakue Bernabeytia should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Florentino FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Gaufred Estebanez hit a great ball. Ugutz Echenique's late challenge caught a Florentino FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ugutz Echenique helped the player get up and apologised. Ugutz Echenique kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Tala's Perico Mayllar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Tala from getting a goal against them. In the 28th match minute, Tala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lauren Viñambres to maneuver through the defense. Frisco Graus blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Perico Mayllar having to make a save. 41 minutes into the match, Tala's goalkeeper Perico Mayllar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Santio Belorado. Lauren Viñambres charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lauren Viñambres the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a little luck, Tala's Perico Mayllar got control of the ball when Santio Belorado tried to sneak it across the goal line. Santio Belorado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Perico Mayllar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Santio Belorado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Locaio Lecuona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Locaio Lecuona in the 53rd minute of play forced Florentino FC's goalkeeper Jakue Bernabeytia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute Locaio Lecuona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jakue Bernabeytia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frisco Graus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Perico Mayllar having to interfere. In the 62nd minute Santio Belorado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Perico Mayllar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rosendo Acebedo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 67th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jakue Bernabeytia. Florentino FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Florentino FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frisco Graus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tala's supporters rose to their feet, but Locaio Lecuona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jakue Bernabeytia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Stephen Laiseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Perico Mayllar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santio Belorado in the 87th minute of the match. If Santio Belorado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
