The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Reboledo getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Lore Postigo hit a great ball. Florentino Prus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anibal Mel in the 9th minute of play. Tristan Logaress short, quick shot in the 11thth minute got Florentino Prus to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 15th minute, Tristan Logares left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VIKINGOS FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 19th minute, Eate Piñeiros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Florentino Prus stood somewhat misplaced when Anibal Mel came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 21 minute. 3-0 became the score in the 24th minute when Tristan Logares elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Tristan Logares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florentino Prus having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, VIKINGOS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Turi Luaces came free, but Sarracino Ovin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Turi Luaces sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the VIKINGOS FC defense, Dimas Oreamuno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sarracino Ovin. The VIKINGOS FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sarracino Ovin should have stopped the shot. If Anibal Mel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dimas Oreamuno was the one to do the kick off. Florentino Prus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anibal Mel, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. If Tristan Logares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Dimas Oreamuno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 66 minutes into the match, Reboledo's goal looked a bit too open when Anibal Mel came free, but Florentino Prus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anibal Mel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Florentino Prus was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There was no doubt that VIKINGOS FC were the better team. VIKINGOS FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
