The audience was convinced that Gillermo Rienda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ciriaco Corbella was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Ciriaco Corbella breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Errapel Saer came free with the goalkeeper in the 82nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bermund Ezquerra could save by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Gillermo Rienda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Charqueada's supporters rose to their feet, but Gillermo Rienda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciriaco Corbella breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Aritza Carbo came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Charqueada fans jumped to their feet.
