Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Maurilio Cantiello took the kick off in the first half of the match. Opilano Gatica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lizardi Hortiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Opilano Gatica in the 5th minute of the match. Chabier Oliveras scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lizardi Hortiz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Faro Vallujera fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Canelones F.C's protests and gave Faro Vallujera a yellow card for diving instead. Faro Vallujera hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Benito Ceraso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maurilio Cantiello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 17 minutes of play, Canelones F.C's Chabier Oliveras made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lizardi Hortiz was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Canelones F.C's Benito Ceraso got control of the ball when Cidro Aeta tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lizardi Hortiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Opilano Gatica in the 23rd minute of play. Opilano Gatica scored 0-3 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lizardi Hortiz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cidro Aeta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Benito Ceraso made a huge save. Cidro Aetas short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Benito Ceraso to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Benito Ceraso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maurilio Cantiello in the 34th minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Faro Vallujera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cidro Aeta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Benito Ceraso made a huge save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Chabier Oliveras to make the kick off. Cidro Aeta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Opilano Gatica came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Canelones F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Opilano Gatica couldn't finish the play. Opilano Gatica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 62 played minutes Martinote AFC got a freekick which was hit by Chorache Gurruchaga. If Chabier Oliveras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute Chabier Oliveras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lizardi Hortiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cidro Aeta scored 1-3 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Ceraso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 74 minutes into the match, Canelones F.C's Chabier Oliveras sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lizardi Hortiz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Opilano Gatica scored 1-4 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lizardi Hortiz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Opilano Gatica recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 82 minutes, Chabier Oliveras made it 1-5 with a short kick to the right side. Martinote AFC's Lizardi Hortiz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Martinote AFC booed when Canelones F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faro Vallujera didn't get a good kick on the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Canelones F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Cidro Aeta came free, but Benito Ceraso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Canelones F.C getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Manni Franquis hit a great ball. Canelones F.C's Benito Ceraso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurilio Cantiello in the 90th minute of play. Canelones F.C's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
