Henrico Reganado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldo Clusella in the 14th minute of play. Oton Miro stood somewhat misplaced when Berriotxoa Arraiz came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 20 minute. Henrico Reganado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peruxu Alejandre, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. When Coquimbo FC's Muno Bizoso in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When Muno Bizoso came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Coquimbo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Muno Bizoso couldn't finish the play. Indar Guevara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Berriotxoa Arraiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Indar Guevara to make the kick off. In the 72nd minute Berriotxoa Arraiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oton Miro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 72 played minutes Coquimbo FC got a freekick which was hit by Baiona Ester. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldo Clusella in the 76th minute of play forced Tropiezo AFC's goalkeeper Henrico Reganado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Coquimbo FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
