Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bernaldo Gajardo kicked off to start the match. Fernandez Redonet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernaldo Gajardo in the 17th minute of play forced Savago FC's goalkeeper Senio Iñarra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Viviano Remolino hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Totakoxe Pecina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Gartzea Munarriz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Savago FC's zone, Bernaldo Gajardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Senio Iñarra came out of the goal and Bernaldo Gajardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Senio Iñarra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pellas Amenabar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 40 minutes of play, Melo FC's Fernandez Redonet made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Senio Iñarra was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Fernandez Redonet came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Melo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernandez Redonet couldn't finish the play. The Savago FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Melo FC were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Totakoxe Pecina to make the kick off. Roderigo Barreras's late challenge caught a Melo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roderigo Barreras helped the player get up and apologised. In the 57th minute, Roderigo Barreras hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 61 minutes into the match, Bernaldo Gajardo notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Savago FC's Senio Iñarra. Senio Iñarra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 66th minute of the game. One of Melo FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Savago FC:s goal. 70 minutes into the match, Melo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Totakoxe Pecina came free, but Gartzea Munarriz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gartzea Munarriz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frances Sierra, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. The referee gave Savago FC a penalty, 77 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Arlo Juanes, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Melo FC's Gartzea Munarriz. 2-2. Senio Iñarra was a little too slow when Bernaldo Gajardo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 2-3. If Bernaldo Gajardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Frances Sierra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gartzea Munarriz having to interfere. If Fernandez Redonet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Melo FC's Bernaldo Gajardo got a good chance for a goal in the 102nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Melo FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
