Joseba Periquet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ourente Pereda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Goyo Partearroyo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benito Villagomez in the 7th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Duranzo FC's goalkeeper Goyo Partearroyo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tabby Cores. Benito Villagomez might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Goyo Partearroyo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benito Villagomez ran back to his position shaking his head. Goyo Partearroyo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benito Villagomez, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Benito Villagomez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Goyo Partearroyo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Duranzo FC's Leo Gonzalo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joseba Periquet narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Goyo Partearroyo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benito Villagomez in the 25th minute of play. Sanchez FC's Joseba Periquet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Gonzalo in the 28th minute of play. A collision led to Sanchez FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Perpinya Arruta hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Duranzo FC's Luzaide Huerta tried to score from far away in the 38th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Leo Gonzalo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joseba Periquet having to interfere. Joseba Periquet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliciano Noguer in the 43rd minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Leo Gonzalo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ourente Pereda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Joseba Periquet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Leo Gonzalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Casomiro Viguera during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Leo Gonzalo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Joseba Periquet made a huge save. Tabby Cores received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Goyo Partearroyo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benito Villagomez scored 1-1 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Goyo Partearroyo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 68 minutes into the game, Perpinya Arruta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sanchez FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Duranzo FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Sanchez FC's Perpinya Arruta got a free kick in the 69th minute. Benito Villagomez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Goyo Partearroyo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Tabby Cores had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Ourente Pereda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Duranzo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ourente Pereda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joseba Periquet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Duranzo FC's Ivon Berdugo got a free kick in the 88th minute. Tabby Cores recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ourente Pereda in the 94th minute of play forced Sanchez FC's goalkeeper Joseba Periquet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leo Gonzalo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
