In the 44th minute, Benito Villagomez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Elorri Barrial received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Joseba Periquet came out and tried to block the shot, but Elorri Barrial slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 49th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Cirilo Michelena charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elorri Barrial couldn't finish the play. Joseba Periquet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregory Ardanza in the 67th minute of the match. If Benito Villagomez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Peralta FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sanchez FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
