In the 6th minute, Bazil Bulnes made a precise shot to the right of Joseba Periquet. Sanchez FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Hermelando Herrea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joseba Periquet having to interfere. 11 minutes into the game, Romo Riart was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sanchez FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fagundez FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Sanchez FC's Romo Riart got a free kick in the 11th minute. With an all-out effort, Fagundez FC's Joseba Periquet threw himself towards the right post 14 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hermelando Herrea, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 16th match minute, Sanchez FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nestor Olaisola to maneuver through the defense. 17 minutes in the game Loramendi Beguellina got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. If Bazil Bulnes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermelando Herrea in the 22nd minute of play forced Sanchez FC's goalkeeper Joseba Periquet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24thth minute of the game Hermelando Herrea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sanchez FC's Joseba Periquet was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Joseba Periquet made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Bazil Bulnes sent off a good shot on target. Sanchez FC's Joseba Periquet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Sanchez FC from getting a goal against them. Eugenio Bejar charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eugenio Bejar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 30 played minutes Fagundez FC got a freekick which was hit by Eugenio Bejar. In the 31st minute, Benito Villagomez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 34 minutes into the game, Tabby Cores cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Qwinton Tejerina was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 38th minute, Perpinya Arruta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Qwinton Tejerina was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hermelando Herrea was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes Sanchez FC got a freekick which was hit by Romo Riart. Bazil Bulnes struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Joseba Periquet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fagundez FC. Mattin Mariategui hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. When Hermelando Herrea came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Fagundez FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hermelando Herrea couldn't finish the play. In the 64th minute, Bazil Bulnes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 70th minute Bazil Bulnes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joseba Periquet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benito Villagomez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tabby Cores could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Qwinton Tejerina made a huge save. Benito Villagomez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Qwinton Tejerina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute Benito Villagomez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Qwinton Tejerina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sanchez FC's Benito Villagomez got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 93 minutes into the match, Fagundez FC's goal looked a bit too open when Benito Villagomez came free, but Qwinton Tejerina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sanchez FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
