Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bautista Movilla started the match with the kick off. 2 minutes into the game, Bautista Movilla was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cardozo AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vazquez FC the free kick. 4 minutes into the match, Cardozo AFC's goalkeeper Romano Alzaga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sustrai Velunza. During the 5th minute of the match Bautista Movilla completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Bautista Movilla a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Cardozo AFC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Bautista Movilla hit a great ball. Sustrai Velunza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Romano Alzaga made a huge save. In the 12th minute, Agostinho Gobantes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sustrai Velunza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Romano Alzaga made a huge save. Enrique Fragua struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Romano Alzaga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vazquez FC. 34 minutes into the match, Cardozo AFC's goalkeeper Romano Alzaga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sustrai Velunza. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sustrai Velunza got free with Romano Alzaga in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 40th minute Ximen Hortuño shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romano Alzaga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cardozo AFC's Zuhaitz Oznayo got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Zuhaitz Oznayo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

After 52 played minutes Cardozo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Agostinho Gobantes. After a defensive mix-up in Cardozo AFC's zone, Sustrai Velunza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romano Alzaga came out of the goal and Sustrai Velunza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Enrique Fragua came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Vazquez FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enrique Fragua couldn't finish the play. Romano Alzaga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sustrai Velunza in the 61st minute of play. After 64th play minutes Sustrai Velunza shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Romano Alzaga and just under the crossbar into goal. Vazquez FC's Ruy Soba proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Vazquez FC from getting a goal against them. In the 70th match minute, Vazquez FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ximen Hortuño to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Cardozo AFC booed when Vazquez FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sustrai Velunza didn't get a good kick on the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Vazquez FC's goalkeeper Ruy Soba had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zuhaitz Oznayo. If Sustrai Velunza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience held their breath when Bitxintxo Gayoso in the 91st minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Romano Alzaga's left hand side. 93 minutes into the game, Vazquez FC's Sustrai Velunza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Romano Alzaga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Sustrai Velunza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Romano Alzaga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vazquez FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Cardozo AFC for a fine match.
