The audience thought a goal was coming when Frechoso Calles got free with Xiao Correa in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 23 minutes, Dalmau Arnedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Algorta AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dalmau Arnedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paralle's Benito Lecea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pascoal Herquinigo in the 24th minute of play. The supporters of Algorta AFC booed when Paralle was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matei Carrandi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pascoal Herquinigo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Lecea having to interfere. Benito Lecea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pascoal Herquinigo in the 28th minute of the match. Algorta AFC's Pascoal Herquinigo got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Venerando Monteserin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paralle's supporters rose to their feet, but Venerando Monteserin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xiao Correa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leheren Carulla during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 40th minute, Leheren Carulla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 41 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Paralle's Pierres Perdices fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. Benito Lecea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dalmau Arnedo's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. A collision led to Algorta AFC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Leheren Carulla hit a great ball. Dalmau Arnedo struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Benito Lecea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Algorta AFC.
