Maronas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pepillo Herrezuelo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 10th match minute, Maronas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chaime Redin to maneuver through the defense. Eladio Cañas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Aristides Cembraña tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aristides Cembraña made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eladio Cañas in the 24th minute. During the 25th minute of the match Chaime Redin completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Chaime Redin a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 25 played minutes Maronas FC got a freekick which was hit by Chaime Redin. Aristides Cembraña didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eladio Cañas went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. 46 minutes into the match, Eusebio Banzo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aristides Cembraña. Casupa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eusebio Banzo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Pepillo Herrezuelo made the kick off in the second half. Xiao Trevijano was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Froila Hurtaran. Eladio Cañas scored 5-1 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aristides Cembraña, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Eladio Cañas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maronas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eladio Cañas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aristides Cembraña breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aristides Cembraña showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eladio Cañas in the 66th minute of the match. Casupa's Munio Calva got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arnaldo Odon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lluciano Achaque fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xiao Trevijano having to interfere.
