Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cosme Fortes started the match with the kick off. Patrido Sarasua recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 6 minutes, Patrido Sarasua managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Calera AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patrido Sarasua was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Leon Fanego came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Red Bull Montevideo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leon Fanego couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Red Bull Montevideo's zone, Fortunato Moyuelo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Modestio Pumar came out of the goal and Fortunato Moyuelo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Calera AFC booed when Red Bull Montevideo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santutxo Lima didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Patrido Sarasua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fortunato Moyuelo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Modestio Pumar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Patrido Sarasua's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Modestio Pumar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Red Bull Montevideo's Modestio Pumar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fortunato Moyuelo in the 32nd minute of play. After 38 minutes of play, Red Bull Montevideo's Cosme Fortes made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fernando Espinoso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fernando Espinoso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leon Fanego in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fortunato Moyuelo to strike the kick off in the second half. If Patrido Sarasua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Fortunato Moyuelo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Calera AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fortunato Moyuelo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Modestio Pumar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Patrido Sarasua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Modestio Pumar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th minute Fortunato Moyuelo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Modestio Pumar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Calera AFC's Fernando Espinoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Fanego in the 72nd minute of play. In the 73rd match minute, Calera AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Azubeli Goycoa to maneuver through the defense. Saturnino Jurado kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 77th minute Fortunato Moyuelo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Modestio Pumar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leon Fanego fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Espinoso having to interfere. Azubeli Goycoa hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. 83 minutes into the match, Calera AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Leon Fanego came free, but Fernando Espinoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute, Fortunato Moyuelo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Cosme Fortes sped through Calera AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fernando Espinoso. Cosme Fortes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Espinoso having to interfere. Red Bull Montevideo's Leon Fanego got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Red Bull Montevideo players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
