The corner led Aguirre AFC's Inguma Meja to fire away a dangerous shot which Martino Griego despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Caton Nuevo fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arriera FC's protests and gave Caton Nuevo a yellow card for diving instead. Arriera FC's Edilberto Rio got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roger Flores received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Martino Griego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paul Gorbin made a kick off. The supporters of Arriera FC booed when Aguirre AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paul Gorbin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Aguirre AFC's Fernando Urquicia got a free kick in the 54th minute. When Taio Zapatero came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Arriera FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Taio Zapatero couldn't finish the play. In the 59th match minute, Arriera FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sasoin Izaguirre to maneuver through the defense. Roger Flores fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martino Griego having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Arriera FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 65th minute. Penalty! The audience thought a goal was coming when Edilberto Rio got free with Zilar Varas in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edilberto Rio scored 1-1 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zilar Varas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Edilberto Rio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Arriera FC's Zilar Varas threw himself towards the right post 80 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fernendo Pi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 81 played minutes Aguirre AFC got a freekick which was hit by Tristan Pis. Roger Flores fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martino Griego having to interfere. Edilberto Rio struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Zilar Varas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arriera FC. Martino Griego didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paul Gorbin went, in the 99th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Aguirre AFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
