Nicanor Barba charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Favila Valensuela to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Nazario Valdaliso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ramos AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nazario Valdaliso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sugar Ruega breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Idacio Jado during the 58th minute. If Nazario Valdaliso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Favila Valensuela scored 1-1 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sugar Ruega, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bernardo Navagos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manu Laso having to interfere. When Bernardo Navagos came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Colon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardo Navagos couldn't finish the play. Ferran Boiro hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Favila Valensuela struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Sugar Ruega didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ramos AFC.
