Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gervasio Palomeque started the match with the kick off. An unexpected shot in the 2nd minute by Eutropio Asteguieta got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 3rd minute Maurilio Beysama shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabricio Cañucal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bilbo Jaurigui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Riffo's zone, Botello Valencina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Feliz Rubion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gervasio Palomeque in the 15th minute of play. Feliz Rubion showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bilbo Jaurigui in the 17th minute of the match. In the 19th minute Montay Burgueño shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliz Rubion saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Montay Burgueño came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Riffo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Montay Burgueño couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gervasio Palomeque in the 22nd minute of play forced Olmos AFC's goalkeeper Feliz Rubion to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Riffo's Gervasio Palomeque in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Olmos AFC's goalie prevented a goal. 29 minutes into the match, Riffo's goal looked a bit too open when Pierres Arista came free, but Fabricio Cañucal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Riffo's Montay Burgueño got a free kick in the 36th minute. Montay Burgueño hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Olmos AFC's Olentzaro Pala shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 41st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Fabricio Cañucal but with some difficulty. Bilbo Jaurigui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The wind increased when Pierres Arista made the kick off in the second half. Bilbo Jaurigui who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Feliz Rubion when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Olmos AFC's zone, Gervasio Palomeque stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Feliz Rubion came out of the goal and Gervasio Palomeque tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Botello Valencina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabricio Cañucal having to interfere. Gervasio Palomeque received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Feliz Rubion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 66 minutes into the game, Rik Mayorga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Olmos AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Riffo the free kick. Angelo Becerro hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Botello Valencina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Feliz Rubion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gervasio Palomeque in the 84th minute of play. The supporters of Riffo booed when Olmos AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eutropio Asteguieta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bilbo Jaurigui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute, Botello Valencina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabricio Cañucal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Botello Valencina in the 96th minute of the match. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
