Cordearo Septiem recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Florida's Mingo Urdapilleta got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lapurdi Horreo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorrin Galdamiz having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, Florida's goal looked a bit too open when Lapurdi Horreo came free, but Jorrin Galdamiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Florida's Jorrin Galdamiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lapurdi Horreo in the 34th minute of play. The Kinsen Piciña was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Cordearo Septiem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Kinsen Piciña tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Albisu booed when Florida was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zorion Carrio didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Jorrin Galdamiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lapurdi Horreo in the 53rd minute of play. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Albisu's goalkeeper Kinsen Piciña, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Mingo Urdapilleta came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Florida fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mingo Urdapilleta couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Cordearo Septiem managed to get in a good position for a shot. Florida's supporters rose to their feet, but Cordearo Septiem was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kinsen Piciña breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cordearo Septiem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Albisu's zone, Mingo Urdapilleta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kinsen Piciña came out of the goal and Mingo Urdapilleta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mingo Urdapilleta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Kinsen Piciña tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cordearo Septiem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 81st minute of the game. One of Florida:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Albisu:s goal. Florida's Mingo Urdapilleta got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cordearo Septiem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mingo Urdapilleta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Kinsen Piciña tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Florida manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Albisu to win.
