If Tulio Tellado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 5th minute, Nuxila Sandino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ibar Cabezon in the 11th minute of play forced Tupambae FC's goalkeeper Rexino Berzosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Matias Colunga put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Nuxila Llana. After 23 minutes of play, Segarra AFC's Ibar Cabezon made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rexino Berzosa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rexino Berzosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ibar Cabezon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute, Vedillo Corrillos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benicio Seral's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nuxila Llana read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. When Jonathan Montalban came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Tupambae FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonathan Montalban couldn't finish the play. Tulio Tellado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When Handi Gota fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Segarra AFC's protests and gave Handi Gota a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Tupambae FC booed when Segarra AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Handi Gota didn't get a good kick on the ball. 53 minutes in the game, Matias Colunga dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. With a little luck, Tupambae FC's Rexino Berzosa got control of the ball when Ibar Cabezon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rexino Berzosa made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Ibar Cabezon sent off a good shot on target. 68 minutes into the game, Benicio Seral cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Nuxila Llana was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eder Tejerina hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Ibar Cabezon might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rexino Berzosa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ibar Cabezon ran back to his position shaking his head. Nuxila Llana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benicio Seral in the 81st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Segarra AFC's zone, Matias Colunga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nuxila Llana came out of the goal and Matias Colunga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Segarra AFC's Nuxila Llana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Colunga in the 89th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Segarra AFC's zone, Benicio Seral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nuxila Llana came out of the goal and Benicio Seral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matias Colunga in the 93rd minute of play forced Segarra AFC's goalkeeper Nuxila Llana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tupambae FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Segarra AFC for a fine match.
