If Clemente Sarmanton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xicu Baamonde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clemente Sarmanton, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 25th minute, Ado Guceño got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 30 minutes into the match, Vera FC's goalkeeper Silverio Salabaste had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ado Guceño. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Palben Lavalle put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Xicu Baamonde. In the 39th minute Clemente Sarmanton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xicu Baamonde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vincent Echandi in the 44th minute of play forced Vera FC's goalkeeper Silverio Salabaste to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute, Heriberto AFC's Vincent Echandi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Xicu Baamonde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Palben Lavalle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vera FC's Silverio Salabaste played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vincent Echandi in the 69th minute of play. Fermin Bertiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xicu Baamonde having to interfere. In the 77thth minute of the game Ado Guceño who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vera FC's Silverio Salabaste was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 79 minutes into the game, Gelacio Guernica was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vera FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Heriberto AFC the free kick. In the 79th match minute, Vera FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gelacio Guernica to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Vera FC booed when Heriberto AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peter Candolias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silverio Salabaste made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ado Guceño in the 96th minute of play. 96 minutes into the game, Heriberto AFC's Ado Guceño nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silverio Salabaste made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Heriberto AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Vera FC for a fine match.
