Carpinteria FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 18 minutes into the game, Jonatan Viveros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mangrullo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carpinteria FC the free kick. After 18 played minutes Mangrullo FC got a freekick which was hit by Jonatan Viveros. In the 25th minute, Basajaun Juaristi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Silbestre Rejon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lorien Iscar in the 26th minute of the match. Balasi Robezo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Silbestre Rejon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 42 played minutes Carpinteria FC got a freekick which was hit by George Barricat. After having played for 44 minutes, Balasi Robezo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mangrullo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Balasi Robezo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Carpinteria FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lorien Iscar came free, but Silbestre Rejon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Carpinteria FC booed when Mangrullo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Costante Elzuardi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Mangrullo FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Carpinteria FC's Neto Redondas got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alex Galiana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Neto Redondas in the 55th minute of play. Mangrullo FC's Alex Galiana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Neto Redondas in the 56th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Lorien Iscar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Mangrullo FC defense, Leoncio Nuncibay kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alex Galiana. The Mangrullo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alex Galiana should have stopped the shot. In the 66th minute of the match Ubendu Pruano sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Silbestre Rejon skillfully saved the ball. Lorien Iscar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Lorien Iscar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mangrullo FC's Lorien Iscar suffered a sore knee after 75 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Gonzalo Cerra's late challenge caught a Mangrullo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gonzalo Cerra helped the player get up and apologised. If Neto Redondas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th match minute, Mangrullo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonatan Viveros to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Mangrullo FC's Calisto Oñatibia got a free kick in the 98th minute. When the final whistle sounded Mangrullo FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Carpinteria FC.
