Carpinteria FC's Neto Redondas got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 7 minutes, Neto Redondas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carpinteria FC and the La Banda Del Lechuga players grew even worse after the yellow card. Neto Redondas hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Licerio Agra got free with Silbestre Rejon in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If George Barricat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th match minute, Carpinteria FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basajaun Juaristi to maneuver through the defense. After 26 minutes of play, Carpinteria FC's Neto Redondas made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Macias Poblaciàn was left in no man's land by his defense there! Licerio Agra might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Silbestre Rejon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Licerio Agra ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Carpinteria FC's Silbestre Rejon got control of the ball when Licerio Agra tried to sneak it across the goal line. Neto Redondas kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Carpinteria FC's goalkeeper Silbestre Rejon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Caracakingo Villela came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the La Banda Del Lechuga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Caracakingo Villela couldn't finish the play. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Carpinteria FC's goalkeeper Silbestre Rejon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The La Banda Del Lechuga players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Carpinteria FC were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Neto Redondas made the kick off in the second half. Licerio Agra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Silbestre Rejon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silbestre Rejon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Licerio Agra in the 58th minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, Teodoro Mirabel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Licerio Agra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Caracakingo Villela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silbestre Rejon having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Leoncio Nuncibay left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carpinteria FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Licerio Agra sped through Carpinteria FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Silbestre Rejon. Joseba Lobregon charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Carpinteria FC's Silbestre Rejon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Licerio Agra in the 93rd minute of play. Carpinteria FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over La Banda Del Lechuga's much stronger midfield.
