Garcia Torrea's late challenge caught a Rivera AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Garcia Torrea helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Barrancas AFC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Garcia Torrea hit a great ball. Calvet Arango recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Rivera AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 12th minute. Penalty! Medardo Gaviña showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Sotuela in the 15th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Lino Biosca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Liher Taramona showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lino Biosca, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Rivera AFC's Calvet Arango got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 26thth minute of the game Calvet Arango who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barrancas AFC's Liher Taramona was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Barrancas AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Biosca came free, but Liher Taramona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Bladi Vede had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jaime Sotuela came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Barrancas AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaime Sotuela couldn't finish the play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lino Biosca to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Barrancas AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Calvet Arango came free, but Liher Taramona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lino Biosca struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Liher Taramona didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rivera AFC. Rivera AFC's Santxo Urriola was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Liher Taramona in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Pepito Balaguer's late challenge caught a Barrancas AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pepito Balaguer helped the player get up and apologised. After 64 played minutes Rivera AFC got a freekick which was hit by Pepito Balaguer. If Bladi Vede had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rivera AFC's Medardo Gaviña played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bladi Vede in the 67th minute of play. Calvet Arango who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Liher Taramona when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Liher Taramona showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lino Biosca in the 69th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, Barrancas AFC's goalkeeper Liher Taramona had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Calvet Arango. 1-1 became the score in the 81st minute when Calvet Arango elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Liher Taramona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pepito Balaguer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th match minute, Barrancas AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Garcia Torrea to maneuver through the defense. Calvet Arango received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Liher Taramona tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Rivera AFC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Barrancas AFC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
