When Matei Minjaraz fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Migues's protests and gave Matei Minjaraz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 4th match minute, Migues was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matei Minjaraz to maneuver through the defense. Benja Rebolloso kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Blasi Angeles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tabb Agudo, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Feo Fabelo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ariel Alvaredo went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 26 minutes into the match, Celipe Salz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Blasi Angeles. Migues's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Celipe Salz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 28th minute, Michel Bilbao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ariel Alvaredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Feo Fabelo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tabb Agudo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Piarres Obaldia to make the kick off. If Celipe Salz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tebaldo Martinena charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tebaldo Martinena the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 57 minutes into the game, one of Migues:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Tacuarembo's Feo Fabelo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Tacuarembo from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Tacuarembo getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Macario Villarreal hit a great ball. Piarres Obaldia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Celipe Salz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blasi Angeles having to interfere.
