Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Primo Villamizar got the match started through his kick off. Sixto Bernardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martxot Pinillos in the 3rd minute of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Baudelio Cazares had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sixto Bernardo. Maldonado AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Baudelio Cazares was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Sixto Bernardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baudelio Cazares in the 10th minute of play. If Sugar Almarza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Quique Bandera charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Quique Bandera the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Quique Bandera hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute of the match Ramirez Iraegui sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sixto Bernardo skillfully saved the ball. Ariando Cavallosa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Aureo Relloso made a huge save. Ariando Cavallosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aureo Relloso having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Martxot Pinillos made a precise shot to the right of Sixto Bernardo. Maldonado AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Algorta's Aureo Relloso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Algorta from getting a goal against them. Primo Villamizar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Maldonado AFC booed when Algorta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sugar Almarza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Martxot Pinillos made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Maldonado AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Martxot Pinillos came free, but Sixto Bernardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th match minute, Maldonado AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quique Bandera to maneuver through the defense. If Primo Villamizar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Suero Blas fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Algorta's protests and gave Suero Blas a yellow card for diving instead. After 61 played minutes Algorta got a freekick which was hit by Suero Blas. Felipillo Murua charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felipillo Murua the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 65th match minute, Algorta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipillo Murua to maneuver through the defense. Sixto Bernardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martxot Pinillos in the 68th minute of the match. 70 minutes had been played when some careless play by Maldonado AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ramirez Iraegui was slow to take the kick. During this time Algorta's players had a chance to rest. Algorta's Ramirez Iraegui was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sixto Bernardo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cleto Alguea during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Maldonado AFC's Cleto Alguea got a free kick in the 75th minute. Martxot Pinillos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ariando Cavallosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Aureo Relloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Primo Villamizar took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aureo Relloso. Aureo Relloso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Martxot Pinillos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sixto Bernardo having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baudelio Cazares got free with Sixto Bernardo in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 95 minutes into the match, Ariando Cavallosa notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Algorta's Aureo Relloso. Aureo Relloso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
