Arriera FC's Arnaldo Guifens got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 43 minutes into the game, Gervasio Belandia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arriera FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Menafra FC the free kick. After 43 played minutes Arriera FC got a freekick which was hit by Gervasio Belandia. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arnaldo Guifens was the one to do the kick off. Arnaldo Guifens kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Edmundo Arroniz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Cordarin Cela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With 58 minutes on the clock, Franko Ramallal commited a dangerous tackle. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edmundo Arroniz got free with Cordarin Cela in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Chan Aponte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Claus Tuesta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Beremundo Celama took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Claus Tuesta. Claus Tuesta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. If Edmundo Arroniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82ndth minute of the game Beremundo Celama who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arriera FC's Claus Tuesta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 83 minutes, Chabier Rulan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arriera FC and the Menafra FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 84th minute of the match Placido Bonvehi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Claus Tuesta skillfully saved the ball. Edmundo Arroniz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cordarin Cela having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Urtzi Ballestero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Menafra FC's Beremundo Celama in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Arriera FC's goalie prevented a goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Menafra FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Arriera FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
